My name is Hugo Stetz. I graduated from Point Loma High School in San Diego, California in June 2016, and am currently attending University of Colorado Boulder in Boulder, Colorado, studying aerospace engineering. In the Fall of 2015, I was participating in the great college hunt - I, along with all of my fellow seniors, had to make a decision regarding where I would attend college in the following year out of thousands of nationally-accredited postsecondary educational institutions. To facilitate my search, I compiled data into comprehensive college spreadsheet, which allowed me to easily compare different colleges. Later that year, I realized that I could be of service to high school students that will be in the same place I was, and decided to offer my college spreadsheets to students, parents and educators that are now active in the college admissions process.
Each spreadsheet is created personally by me, using data that I have gathered from various sources. Each is divided into numerous sections:
1) General Information - General information regarding a college, such as the date it was founded and what kind of institution it is.
2) Financial - The cost of attending the college, and information regarding its financial aid.
3) Educational Assets - Schools offered by the college as well as rankings and other relevant information.
4) Admission - Application deadlines and requirements, as well as statistics for college freshmen.
5) Location - Climate and economics for the base city of the college as well as the nearest major city.
6) Enrollment - Student demographics and graduation and retention rates.
7) College Activities and Facilities - Activities and facilities offered by the college in question.
8) Notes, Comments, Remarks - Providing final comments on the college in question, and clarifying any previously listed information that needs it.
